Following concerns over the current infighting between the major Imperial powers and the redistribution of forces within Empire space, the Imperial Senate has begun procedures to fortify and protect the Imperial border systems.

A special task force, called The Silver Skulls has been established and assigned to the Liaedin system. The Silver Skulls mission is to fortify the Liaedin system, increase its commerce and quality of life for those that live there and to avoid losing this important Imperial system.

It is comforting to know that even in these troublesome times, that the Senate are still looking at the security and stability of the Empire as a whole.
